The Lyra (2018)
This was the effigy for Constellation 2018. It was a fully playable instrument with an experimental sound box. It was installed with a contact mic and speakers built in underneath the floor where a person stands to play it. It also had sound reactive lights. It was created with hardwoods like maple and ebony, and softwoods like pine and spruce for improved tone. It was strung with 7 sizes of harp strings across 14 slots.
